The UChicago STEM Education at the University of Chicago and Bright Star Community Outreach in Bronzeville have partnered for the STEAM Dream Initiative, benefiting teachers and students in Bronzeville. This initiative will support the training and implementation of three key STEM programs: Engineering is Elementary (EiE) and FUSE Studio for Grades PreK-8, and Lego Robotics kits for Grades 1-8 to develop programming and computational thinking skills. An arts element will be incorporated as appropriate to foster creative expression.
