The STEAM Dream After-School Program is a free, hands-on learning experience designed to introduce students in grades K–8 from Bronzeville-area schools to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Through engaging, age-appropriate engineering activities and collaborative projects, students will build critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while exploring how STEAM concepts apply to the real world. The program runs Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 6 through May 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the TURN Center (4444 S. Evans Ave., Chicago, IL). Families are encouraged to register early as space may be limited.
“I believe STEM is important because as the future builds more towards science and technology we need to build the minds of young learners to drive in the same direction so they can have successful futures.”
